Research Scientist (Ph.D. or M.Sc.) in MRS

The Brain Imaging Lab led by Dr. Peterson at Columbia University calls for applications for a Research Scientist in Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy. The successful candidate will work on 1) methodological development of in vivo MRS and/or MRI; 2) processing and analysis of MRS data of the ongoing projects in psychiatry. In addition, he or she will be encouraged to work on his/her own research of interest. The term will be 2 years or longer.

The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. or an M.Sc. degree in science and engineering, such as Physics, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, or other related fields with emphasis on Magnetic Resonance. Experiences and abilities in signal processing and computer programming (C/C++, Matlab) are required. Experience in MRI or MRS will a plus. Good communication skills are expected.
